Luke today revealed to BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat that the band have started work on their 3rd album.

He told Newsbeat: “We kind of barricaded ourselves in the countryside for a few weeks - stayed at some friend’s who have a cottage in Norfolk.”

Explaining the sessions he added: “[We’ve] Just been rehearsing and writing new stuff.

“I feel really fresh about the band - I guess generally we’re still just such friends. It’s cool, we’ve just been having fun really.”

“It’s just like an idea, like a chorus, and then we just jam on it - it happens in loads of different ways. The best songs I find always come from the subconscious, like when you don’t think. Not to be pretentious about it, but usually songs just blurt out rather than thinking about it. I never write lyrics and then do a song, I find that really hard - that’s like a real skill.”
